Sonia Loiselle’s legal practice specializes in civil litigation and Business Law. While studying Civil Law and Common Law at Université de Sherbrooke, she was a research assistant and assistant editor for the university’s law review, in addition to sitting on several committees. In 2013, she did her Barreau du Québec internship at Lord, Poissant & Associés, where she acquired experience in various legal fields. She has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2014. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she spent 7 years as a legal assistant for her father, the notary François Loiselle. This is where she became familiar with real estate and inheritance law.
Ms. Loiselle started her own practice in July 2014 in Verdun, servicing both the local community and all of Greater Montreal. In terms of litigation, she mainly focuses on real estate law, inheritance law and third-part liability, representing both individuals and businesses in front of civil and administrative courts. In business law, she focuses on incorporating and selling businesses, as well as drawing up contracts.
Since January 2018, she has taught Civil Procedure at O’Sullivan College in Montreal, where she gets to share her passion for law with Paralegal Technology students. She also does corporate training and presentations on real estate law.
